From Buggy to Better: A Second Look
Frank from ProGun on YouTube was familiar with the old Strikeman back in 2022 — and he wasn’t impressed. “I wasn’t really impressed with it,” he said, recalling a buggy app and a product that didn’t quite deliver on its promise.
Since we took over in early 2023, we’ve made major improvements to both the system and the app. We asked Frank to check out our updated Marksman’s Kit and give us his honest review — and the results were strikingly different.
What’s Inside the Kit
The Marksman’s Kit is Strikeman’s top-of-the-line dry-fire training system. Frank noted that the kit is well thought out and easy to use. Inside the sleek carrying case, you’ll find:

Optional expansion packs like Tic-Tac-Toe, Naval Training, and Dartboard add variety and make training more engaging. “These are really a lot of fun,” Frank said.
The App: Then vs. Now
When Frank first reviewed Strikeman, the app was a major point of frustration: “I got shots that didn’t register, and sometimes shots would register multiple times when I fired once.”
This time, the app performed flawlessly. Frank praised the smooth calibration, accurate shot tracking, and detailed metrics that show session history and improvement over time. “I tried my best to break the app, and I couldn’t do it,” he said.
Frank’s Verdict
After testing the updated system, Frank concluded: “A product that finally does exactly what it’s supposed to do — and it does it well.” He highlighted the simple setup, reliable app, and fun expansion packs.
